Our Mission:

Provide customers electronic disposal services that meet or exceed all local, state and federal requirements for safe handling of hazardous wastes. This business will create employment, training and career development opportunities for people who want to obtain and retain livable wage employment.

Lifecyclers provides responsible recycling and proper disposal of electronic waste such as computers, keyboards, stereos, televisions, VCRs and DVD players, phones and more.

The EPA requires safe handling of these products, which contain toxic substances, in compliance with the U.S. Code's Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Last year, Lifecyclers prevented more than 500,000 pounds of electronic equipment and hazardous substances from ending up in landfills!

Ours is a dual
mission: We are not only a resource to help businesses and consumers protect the environment, but we also offer livable-wage jobs and benefits to underemployed individuals in our community through our association with CHUMWorks.

Lifecyclers was developed in close cooperation with WLSSD, the MPCA and the Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance. The hazardous-waste processors we use are carefully selected to guarantee our customers proper handling of their equipment. Minnesota Power's Environmental Engineers have visited, evaluated and recommended our processors.
